Sunny Amager

Wednesday was my first full day back in Copenhagen, and a whole hour of it actually felt like spring!

I fell asleep to rain and woke up to grey and sprinkles, but then around 4pm the skies cleared up in time for my commute home from University. I usually bike to campus, but I woke up SO groggy and jetlagged. Like full on fall-over-and-sleep-on-the-floor status. So, bus it was.

This is what I bike by on most days. Only, imagine it much more grey and freezing for accuracy.

And this bridge is actually one of the biggest “hills” in the whole city. Bless you, Copes, for being so flat and bike-able.

Rush hour = layers upon layers of bikes.

Tivoli!

I love how this place is tucked away right in the very center of the city.

I would really hate to be a car in this city.

And just like that, the clouds rolled back in and everything felt normal again.
