Norwegian Flight

Guess who hopped on over to Stockholm this weekend?

(Points for redundancy? Me, duh. This is my blog after all.)

On Thursday, we (3 girls from my master’s program + myself) left Copenhagen on a 10:40am flight bound for Stockholm’s Arlanda airport. We had no class on Friday, and decided to take advantage of cheap flights and a long weekend.

I was an absolute ZOMBIE, cause I was still majorly jetlagged from my flight out of LA just two days prior. Luckily our plane was empty, so I took full advantage of my own aisle for in-flight nap time. Once we’d landed, we hopped on the Arlanda Express to take us into the city.

It drops you off at Central Station, where we bought 72hr bus/metro passes for the rest of the trip.

And then it was off in search of food.

Cafe life. I don’t remember what this place was called, but it was close to Central Station.

After eating, we navigated the bus system – which is always the adventure in a new city.

Destination: our AirBnb!

It was a super cute one bedroom, located in the neighborhood called Fridhemsplan.

We got all settled, unpacked, freshened up, and then made our way back out for some Stockholm wanderings.

More to come…
