Epcot’s International Food & Wine Fest

Our most recent visit to Walt Disney World lined up with Epcot’s annual Food and Wine festival. True to the name, it’s a food festival (featuring wine!) themed to the 11 countries that make up the World Showcase.

We’ve enjoyed noshing our way through all the goodies at the Festival of Holidays, DCA’s own Epcot-inspired food festival, but this was our first time visiting the original.

You could spend hours hopping from booth to booth, eating and drinking from one end of World Showcase to another. We didn’t have that luxury, since we were squeezing the Epcot visit in between a trip to Animal Kingdom (for another go at Pandora) and the Magic Kingdom (for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party).

But even though we were only there a couple hours, we made the most of it. In our experience, the theme park food from WDW has been way underwhelming. Not so here! We both had a glass of wine, and split a quiche. And boy, it was gooood.
