Hello, September

My “summertime” actually feels like it’s been postponed to fall, since the last 12 weeks have been so busy. I learned some of the general nuances of app-building and software engineering during my grad internship. Spent a long weekend adventuring in the Aloha State. Helped the BF remodel his house (read: offered ‘moral support’ from the comfort of the couch). And, as always, spent a good chunk of time (1) eating all the things and (2) Disneylanding.

Remember how I shipped my Copenhagen bike back with me when I moved home? We took advantage of it this summer with lots of sunshine-y rides through Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Rey, Venice, and Santa Monica.

With little Lilo in tow.

And, naturally, after bike rides come cocktails and FOOOOOD at Cove Bar.

I hope all my friends in the States have an amazing + safe Labor Day weekend. Stay sandy and have a couple piña coladas for me. I’m off to enjoy the second-to-last day of 60th Celebration fireworks at Disneyland.
