And here we are again.
No visits to Universal Studios in over a decade, and then twice in one week! Who am I? (Someone who just really likes Harry Potter, obvi.)

This time, Kasey and her friend, Mercedes, tagged along. As did my pops.

Kasey ended up getting a Hedwig backpack (!) so naturally I made her pose in front of a Hogsmeade door. #doitforthegram

We all rode Forbidden Journey and I actually didn’t feel sick this go around! Success. Even my dad, who HATES motion simulator rides, came out of it like a champ.
Suck it, Dementors! (But please don’t suck my soul – just like, “suck it” in a metaphorical “F You” kind of way. K?)

Wands!

We spent most of our time in Hogsmeade, but ended up wandering the rest of the park midday to escape some of the wizarding crowds (they were insane).

* Short interlude for a love story about a donut *

Caught Snappin’ ~

I mean, would you look at this beauty!? It’s bigger than his face.

We all ended up doing the studio tour, mostly so we had an excuse to sit down and eat the 4lb. donut for a while. Strategery.
(Photo stolen from Kasey’s Snapchat, of course.)
Then we did Jurassic Park, The Mummy, and Transformers.

And it was back to Hogsmeade for dinner.

Somehow we were somehow still hungry after the donut marathon. Magic? I mean, duh, we were in the WIZARDING WORLD after all.

And the Three Broomsticks did not disappoint.

Thanks for the hospitality, Mr. Potter! I’m sure we’ll be back again, sooner than later.
xo
You guys have the most American names ever! Really thought Mercedes was limited to the cliché mean girl in chick flicks

I know lots of Mercedes, and I promise none of them are the cliché mean girl from chick flicks 😉
