Hello, April!
Blossoms are out and showing off at the Happiest Place on Earth. Spring, you are the very best.
In honor of Springtime and the Easter holiday, Disneyland is all dressed up for the annual Disney Eggstravaganza. They have big Disney-themed eggs hidden throughout the parks, and the gist is – you buy a $6 map on Main Street that will help you find them all.
After you finish the map, you redeem it for a little Disney egg.

Here’s what the little eggies look like (except, obviously, they’re all different characters).

The current flower situation in the park got me with the major heart eyes.

The current crowd situation in the park got me with the major sad eyes. Spring Break season is a beast.

They’ve been doing this little parade down Main Street around midday, with everyone’s favorite characters, in celebration of Disneyland’s 60th. It’s cheesy, and cute, and surprisingly catchy – complete with a marching band and second hand embarrassment style dancing.

Seasonal treats always got me like ❤ ❤ ❤

And the crazy amount of SUNSHINE happening was the best ever. It was in the 80s this day, and I was a super happy panda.

Map status: Complete! I chose Minnie as my little “hoorah, you did it!” prize. You can choose between her, Mickey, Stitch, Jesse, and Woody.

With Disneyland’s map complete, I did the hop, skip, jump right on over to California Adventure…

Where they had their own Eggstravaganza hunt going on.
Goodbye, $6 (again). Hello, SUPER IMPORTANT AND ADULT APPROPRIATE EGG SEARCH. Priorities, man. I definitely have them.

Paradise.
They’re also doing an egg hunt in Downtown Disney, and you can buy a map in the World of Disney store. I did, but at this point I was so tired from my DLR & DCA egg hunts that I called it a day. Easter is over (obviously) but they have the eggs up until April 4, so get over there and get your hunt on!
xoxo
