These last few weeks at home have been filled with some of my favorite things.
Sun, sand, and spontaneous road trips up and down the California coast. A couple weekends ago, I made my way down to San Diego, the right-next-to-Mexico metropolis best known for Sea World, the SD Zoo, and Legoland.
We didn’t end up going to any of those places — instead, we enjoyed the salt water at La Jolla Beach.
My lady loves.
We marveled at the chubby sleeping sea lions for a while, then drove through San Diego and over the bridge to Coronado Island.
It had been raining off and on all day, so – rainbow! [Insert heart eyes]
Then it was back to that freeway life for the 2 hour drive up the 405 to home sweet home.
The road trip ended with cuddles from these oinkers. My own chubby little sea lions.
