Restaurant Edvard
After 3 nights in Budapest and two in Vienna, we decided one last foodie dinner would be the perfect way to top off our Thanksgiving trip.
With one Michelin star, Edvard is a sophisticated dining experience in the heart of Vienna. The restaurant is located in the Palais Hansen Kempinski Hotel, just a quick cab ride away from the Hotel Sacher Wien.

Champagne and amuse bouche to start.

And the evening’s degustation (aka, tasting) menu.

I honestly don’t remember what most of these are but I’m pretty sure they were all delicious. Except, you know, this is obviously bread. But, moving forward…

…they get a little fuzzier.

Best bowl ever, right?

It was filled with truffles and some sort of tasty green sauce.

Venisen, aka Bambi.

Dessert #1

Dessert #2

Baby after-dessert desserts.

Plus a can of… tuna as a take home gift?

Nah, kidding, it was a super sweet hazelnut cookie. As if we didn’t get enough food the first time around.
