On Tuesday we left for another adventure.
Goodbye, Copenhagen…

Hello, Austria!

But our stop in Vienna was only a stepping stone. We hopped in this tiny rental car and hit the road for Hungary. To Budapest we go!

The drive was an easy 2 hours. No traffic, and no border control from Austria to Hungary. No real speed limits either – we were getting passed by cars that must’ve been going at least 100mph.

This was our hotel originally – the Corinthia. But there was a snafu with check-in so…

The Four Seasons became home instead. The location was spectacular – the hotel was in the historical, renovated Grisham Palace right across from the Chain Bridge and Castle Hill.

The room itself was stunning, too. One of the most ridiculously gorgeous hotel rooms we’ve ever had to privilege of staying in. We were housed in one of the towers on the end, so the bedroom portion was actually under the spire dome. I mean. UNREAL.

See!

And don’t even get me started on the views…
