Copenhagen’s best food market
Can’t get enough of this place. And all the goodies it has to offer!
I stopped here again on my way back from the Copenhagen Airport on Amager. I had to bike all the way out there (took over an hour, each way!) to pick up a package from the FedEx facility. Nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend using FedEx to ship stuff from the States to DK, cause they only make one delivery attempt, and they don’t have any local facilities in Copenhagen proper. So if you’re a normal human who’s out of the house anytime between 9-4 and you miss them, you’re stuck trekking down to the airport to pick up your package. It’s bogus.
Hmmmph. Anyway. As a consolation prize for the biking slog, I treated myself to some Torvehallerne love.

“Oh, you wanted a BUNDT cake? I thought you said butt cake.”

Danish danishes ❤
(I love redundancy, ok.)

And, of course, can’t stop in at Torvehallerne without trip to the Palæo stall.

This time I got a salmon salad with goat cheese, almonds, and a slice of their nut bread. Meget godt.

On the way back to my apartment, I made a pit stop at the farmer’s market area for some grapes, sweet taters, avocado and squash.

Visit well spent.
