This and that

I haven’t ridden my bike in ages. Partly cause I don’t feel like getting sideswiped by a 2 ton metal deathtrap in one of our nonexistent bike lanes, but mostly cause I’m lazy. So instead I drive around a take pictures of other people’s bikes. Totally counts.

We’ve been living that overcast life here in LA lately. It makes me moody…

…but sangria always helps.

We took a road trip up the 101 last weekend, for a mini staycation in Santa Barbara (more on that later).

And a few days ago my darling mama turned fifty! Can barely believe it.

We celebrated with flowers, food, and lots of hugs.

Oh, and these bomb sparkler candles that almost burned the house down.

But really, most of my days lately have been spent cuddling up with these guys — my OG BFFs (thank you, #funemployment).
