Copenhagen’s rooftop views always give me the heart eyes…
This is from Illum, a department store that reminds me a bit of Bloomingdales or Neiman Marcus back home — upscale, and full of stuff that’s way too expensive. It’s where Mark and I decided to start our day, after a late and lazy morning. Illum recently opened a rooftop food court, and we decided to check it out for lunch.
It was lovely. Think mall food, only 10000x classier.
We ended up eating at Rossopomodoro… the carb lover’s dream. Complete with wine (day drinking is totally acceptable on the weekends, right?), bruschetta, and…PIZZA.

After getting our fill, we walked over to Nyhavn to join all the other tourists basking in the semi-sunshine.

The day ended with a boatload of french fries from room service. Cause #friesbeforeguys! (Or, at the very least, I’ll settle for #frieswithguys.)

The next morning Mark was up insanely early to catch a 7:15am flight. I slept in and hung out at the hotel until check-out time, then made my way back to my apartment, where I had a couple letters waiting.

Then I did the pen pal thing for a while, and sent out a ton of postcards from Dublin.

Finally said goodbye to the day with an epic sunset (at almost 9pm!) that gave me all the good vibes.

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first
comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just
sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole
thing. Do you have any tips and hints for beginner blog
writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
