Hello! I’m Kirstie (“Keer – stee”) — a Southern California girl, raised on salt water, sunshine and a splash of that infamous LA traffic. When I’m not snuggling with my 3 fat French Bulldogs or snacking my way through Disneyland, you can probably find me:
- Bullet journaling and scrapbooking (it’s cheaper than therapy)
- Obsessively re-watching every season of The Office on Netflix
- Spending too much money at coffee shops
- Mentally re-living our (two!) fairytale Disney weddings
- Planning bucket list trips to every Disney Park in the world
Most of all, I have a passion for new places, new experiences, and the adventure of travel. I started this blog in the summer of 2015, when I quit my marketing job in Los Angeles to do just that: explore my heart out and see the world.
In an attempt to breathe some crazy into a life of routine, I moved to the tiny country of Denmark and began graduate school at the University of Copenhagen. I spent a year living in the rainy Danish capital, learning the ins and outs of an entirely new-to-me culture, and traveling all over Europe. It was amazing experience, filled with all sorts of ups, downs, and squiggly little learning curves. One year later, I said goodbye to Denmark and moved back home to the States to finish up my thesis.
I’m back in California now, living in sunny Manhattan Beach & chasing more adventures on this side of the Atlantic.

Did you get your degree in marketing? Do you work for Disney? I’m just curious since I’ve seen endless Disney photos.

I got my bachelor’s degree at UCLA in Communication studies, and then worked in marketing for a couple years before going back for my master’s degree in Cognitive Science. I don’t work for Disney; I’m just a girl with an Annual Pass and a major itch to visit all the Disney Parks in the world.

Wow that’s so fascinating. The pictures you post on IG legitimately led me to believe that you worked at Disney. Which is your favorite Disney park so far?

Love your blog ! If you don’t mind me asking (I read that you don’t work for Disney) how do you manage to travel , does Disney subsidize you (sorry , but am really curious, I’m doing marketing too and what you are doing is my dream!) .

I love your blog and your Instagram so much! I really love your aesthetic and how you edit your photos. May I ask (because I couldn’t find it anywhere) what filter do you use to edit your Instagram photos? And what all do you use to edit your Instagram stories? I’m by no means trying to steal your creative thunder, I just really really love the aesthetic 😍 I use VSCO but your edits are so gorgeous!

I know you said you quit your marketing job. If you don’t mind me asking what do you currently do for a living? I have the same passion of yours for Disney and traveling I just am currently struggling to find my true passion at the moment.
