March

A few of my favorite things

Where is this year going? It feels like New Year’s Eve was just last week, and yet somehow we’re already a quarter of the way through March?! Time’s flying, and I’ve been letting a lot of incredible little things slip through the cracks lately (adulting is hard). So, how about a “favorite things” roundup?

Spring at Disneyland

Springtime at Disneyland

First of all — I am LOVING all these pastel pink spring vibes at Disneyland lately. This time of year just might be my second favorite, after Christmas, cause it’s so beautiful in a no-nonsense kind of way. No holiday decorations, no peak season specials — just mother nature being fabulous.

It’s a bummer that SO much of the Disneyland Resort is under construction right now (Mickey & Friends, Paradise Pier, Main Street, Splash Mountain, World of Disney, and Galaxy’s Edge, to name a few) but at least we have a bit of a consolation prize: beautiful spring weather, blooms, and sometimes even – gasp! – less crowds.

OtterBox

OtterBox

I partnered with OtterBox back in December, when they unveiled their Disney collection of iPhone cases. Since then I’ve been low key obsessed, and have had a Mickey Mouse OtterBox case on my phone at all times.

Well, folks. They recently released a Park Exclusive collection of Castle cases that completely blew me away. Are they not just THE perfect combo of sparkle, shine, and Disney-infused kawaii??

Unfortunately this series is currently only available at the Disney Parks — with the Sleeping Beauty case only at Disneyland and the Cinderella case only at Walt Disney World.

I was prepared to be a major sadface about missing out on the WDW case, but then OtterBox sent me this cutie in the mail. AMAZING. Thanks, guys!

If you’re not near one of the Parks, their original Disney Symmetry series is available online!

Lillian&Co

Lillian & Co.

Ok, no surprises here. I’ve been a Lillian & Co. Dreambassador for just under a year now, and they have yet to stop wowing me. One of their newest bracelets is “Have Faith in Your Dreams,” and I loooove it. I’m highly capable of being a Debbie-Downer (my glass is usually half empty tbh), so this mini pep talk on the wrist is everything.

Make it Minnie

Ashley over at Make it Minnie sent me a couple necklaces last month, and they are absolutely darling. The first is Mickey’s Funwheel-inspired, and the second is everyone’s favorite Neverland guide. I’m a huge fan of dainty, understated jewelry, and these necklaces are right on target. I also love that they’re just subtle enough to wear pretty much anywhere, anytime.

Happily Ever Tees

Happily Ever Tees

Another small shop I’m loving these days is Happily Ever Tees, home to the original Best Day Ever shirt you’ve probably seen floating around Instagram. They make some pretty freaking adorable typography-based apparel that’s perfect for park days. Apart from tees, they also make “Best Day Ever” keychains and pins – aka, my kinda flair.

Porgy is most definitely a fan.

Happily Ever Tees also stocks Danielle Nicole. They sent me this sparkly Snow White cross body bag and I’m almost embarrassed to admit it’s my very first Danielle Nicole product. The brand has become such a ubiquitous force within the Disney community, but for some reason I just never got on the bandwagon — mostly cause I figured Porg and Pooh bear are all I’d ever need to keep me happy. 😉

But I’m super stoked to add sparkly Snow to the mix!

Letters & Characters

Letters & Characters

Last up on my grand circle tour of fav things: Letters & Characters, sister company to Lillian & Co. If you couldn’t tell by the photo above, they make felt letter boards! I’ve been wanting one of these for foreeeeever, so when the fabulous folks at L&C reached out about sending one, I think I actually did a happy dance. Their letter boards are surprisingly affordable, and you can get a bunch of different letter colors to go with it.

If you’d like to snag your own letter board, code “whereiskirstie” will get you a nice discount! Your brain will thank you for all the mental exercise as you crank out those witty phrases.

xo,

K

  1. How long will the otterbox cases be available in the parks? I’m so wanting the Disneyland Sleeping Beauty’s Castle one for my phone!
